About Us

Center Ann Sullivan International (CASI) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose purpose is to make the world a better place for people with different abilities due to cognitive, physical or behavioral limitations. CASI partners with international organizations to provide needed resources such as administrative, education, medical and social support to professionals and parents. These resources enhance the opportunities for individuals with different abilities to become independent, productive and valued members of society.

History

CASI was founded by Judith M. LeBlanc, Ph.D. in 2009. Dr. LeBlanc consulted with Centro Ann Sullivan del Peru (CASP) for over 30 years and recognized the need for a non-profit organization which provides funds and resources to further the work of CASP and other international organizations serving children with different abilities and their families. CASI is overseen by a Board of Directors (BOD) consisting of professionals with expertise in areas of administration, research, and the disciplines needed to promote happy, healthy, and productive lives for people with different abilities.
